Frances Orchard

Sr Frances Orchard CJ is a member of the Congregation of Jesus, a 400-year old Roman Catholic Ignatian congregation founded in England. Her professional background is in educational leadership, and she was head of a Catholic school for seventeen years, and an educational consultant. She has been a governor/trustee of seven schools which has brought her into close touch with safeguarding. She has served as Vicar General of her congregation in Rome, and more recently as Provincial Superior. She sits on the Executive of the Conference of Religious of England and Wales (CoREW), and is a member of the Mixed Commission of Bishops and member of the CoREW executive and CoREW’s as the Lead Religious for Safeguarding.
